The Compat® Soft tubes have been designed to help improve patient comfort.
Patient Comfort: Compat® Soft feeding tubes can be used for up to 42 days and are made of polyurethane,
a patient-friendly material which softens at body temperature. The tube rounded distal end design permits nontraumatic tube insertion and the single ENFit® connector helps promote patient comfort.
Aid in Placement: The tubes have placement depth markers every 5 cm for placement depth evaluation and tube migration verification. A pre-assembled stylet is included to aid in placement (optional). The stylet is lubricated which may help lower the risk of tube displacement on stylet removal. It allows injecting radiopaque fluids or aspirating gastric content without stylet removal.
Patient Safety: Compat® Soft nasogastric feeding tubes with ENFit® connectors are designed to be IV incompatible in order to help promote patient safety and avoid accidental misconnections. All tubes are sterile, DEHP, BPA and Latex-Free1.
